The 3M u-clamp is a two-piece, discrete wire interconnect
system that allows installers to terminate without crimping or other preparation,
reducing labor costs. Even better, the transparent plug cover has a temporary
hold feature that helps the installer to accurately position each wire
and to visually check wire placement before termination.
This makes it easier to get a solid connection every time,
reducing the possibility of faulty interconnections. You waste less time
and materials and get a more reliable result. The u-clamp plug transparent
cover is color coded for different wire sizes and to help minimize costly
mistakes.
