3M™ Bair Hugger™ Lithotomy Underbody Warming Blanket, 58501 is a single-use underbody forced-air warming blanket that provides unrestricted patient access. This blanket for normothermia can be conveniently positioned before the patient arrives to the room during lithotomy surgeries.

Simplify your operating room set-up by placing the 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Lithotomy Underbody Warming Blanket, 58501 on the table before patients arrive, which allows immediate warming and more time for other pre-surgical tasks. This warming blanket offers clinicians unobstructed access to the lower extremities, abdominal, peritoneal and pelvic cavities. Generous peritoneal cutout at the base of the blanket makes it ideal for procedures involving lower extremities.

Fluid outlets in the blanket minimize fluid pooling while the patient's natural pressure points compress the warming blanket, preventing warm air from reaching potentially ischemic tissue. Perforations in the soft, radiolucent materials provide uniform convective warming. Adhesive strips and tuck flaps secure the forced-air warming blanket to the operating table. A clear plastic drape is included to help retain warm air around the patient's head and maintain normothermia.

Suggested applications
  • 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Temperature Management Solutions are indicated for hypothermic patients or normothermic patients for whom induced hypothermia or localized temperature therapy is clinically indicated. In addition, the solutions can be used to provide patient thermal comfort when conditions exist that may cause patients to become too warm or too cold. The temperature management systems can be used with adult and pediatric patients. Bair Hugger Temperature Management Solutions should only be used by trained medical professionals
