3M™ Bair Hugger™ Sterile Cardiac Warming Blanket, 63000 is a single-use lower body forced-air warming blanket designed to warm the lower body to help reduce core-to-periphery heat loss during cardiothoracic and vascular procedures and to help maintain normothermia.

With its flexible, easy-to-use design and perforation pattern across the surface, the 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Sterile Cardiac Warming Blanket, 63000 is easy to position in the sterile field and provides even convective lower body warming to help reduce core-to-periphery heat loss. It also has a clear window to allow visualization of graft incisions in the groin. The cummerbund design of this forced-air warming blanket is pre-positioned at the waist during surgical draping, unrolled upon closure of the saphenous vein graft incision and inflated post bypass.

Suggested applications
  • 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Temperature Management Solutions are indicated for hypothermic patients or normothermic patients for whom induced hypothermia or localized temperature therapy is clinically indicated. In addition, the solutions can be used to provide patient thermal comfort when conditions exist that may cause patients to become too warm or too cold. The temperature management systems can be used with adult and pediatric patients. Bair Hugger Temperature Management Solutions should only be used by trained medical professionals
