We designed 3M™ Perfect-It™ Clean & Shine for efficient cleanup following auto body panel paint finishing. The spray formula offers efficient cleaning of compound and polish residue with an easy spray-on-wipe-off application. It produces a high gloss shine for a flawless finish.

Compounding and polishing can leave sling and residue on auto body surfaces, and 3M™ Perfect-It™ Clean & Shine is ideal for the final step in returning surfaces to their original, shiny appearance. The formula contains no silicone and is paint shop safe, making it an excellent product to have on hand for car detail work.
Ease of Use
We recommend using 3M™ Perfect-It™ Clean & Shine along with a 3M™ Perfect-It™ Detail Cloth (sold separately) for car detailing after panel repairs. Remove all masking material from the repair area and spray any residual sling from adjacent panels and door jamb areas, wiping clean with the detail cloth. Cleaning the panel immediately after compounding and polishing makes residue removal much easier. To achieve flawless results, we suggest inspecting the panel surface using the 3M™ SUN GUN™ II Light Kit (sold separately).
