3M Hong Kong donated food to Food Angel in supporting their food rescue and food assistance program with the mission of “Waste Not, Hunger Not, With Love”. With the generous donation from the staff, the company collected 840kg of food, categorising it into over 30 items, including rice, noodles, canned food, cooking oil and biscuits, etc. The materials were given to the program that rescues edible surplus food from different food industry sectors and makes it into nutritious hot meals for the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.
This activity was organised by the newly formed 3M Hong Kong Love and Care Volunteer Team. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of 3M Hong Kong, the Team was set up to help the needy by leveraging 3M technologies and expertise while promoting inclusiveness and care in the community.
