3M Hong Kong Volunteer Day

3M Hong Kong Limited and Food Angel have crowned their lively "A day with Food Angel" event at Sham Shui Po Community Centre on 6 September 2019.

"A day with Food Angel" including the Food Angel food preparation program, food up-cycling workshops and community events activities. 3Mers help to prepare hot meal boxes and serve the underprivileged communities as food assistance.

About Food Angel Food Recovery Programme
Bo Charity Foundation launched "Food Angel" in 2011, aiming to alleviate poverty and food waste problems. Food Angel rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste. The programmes further turn food waste into healthy, nutritious meal boxes. Following strict safety protocols, the rescued food items will be prepared as meal boxes in their central kitchen and redistributed to serve the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. http://www.foodangel.org.hk
