Socially responsible 3M received many awards

Sustainability is at the heart of 3M corporate culture. We are committed to building a cohesive community by implementing our corporate social responsibilities. Our efforts have been recognised by the public, and the company has recently received many awards from various organisations.

• 10 years + Caring Company

Since 2006, 3M has been named a “Caring Company” by the Council of Hong Kong Social Service for 13 consecutive years. This year nominated again by Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong, 3M continued to show outstanding performance in caring for community, employees and environment while enhancing its competitiveness in business, thereby demonstrating the cooperation between the business sector and the social services community to build a society of sustainable development, care and shared achievements.

• 5 years + Consumer Caring Company

3M was repeatedly selected by “Consumer Caring Company Scheme” organised by GS1 Hong Kong and awarded the “5 years + Consumer Caring Company” logo. Such honour is proof of the company’s unswerving commitment to consumer services and excellent performance. On 12 March at InterContinental Hong Kong, the Award Presentation Ceremony was officiated by Financial Secretary Paul Chan and Secretary of Innovation and Technology Nicholas Yang, as well as witnessed by some 600 political and business leaders in town.

• Happy Enterprise

3M was named “Happy Enterprise” and awarded “Happiness at Work” logo by “Happiness at Work Promotional Scheme”. Organised by Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and executed by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the Scheme aims at endorsing those enterprises/ organisations creating workplaces that enhance employees’ happiness. The Award Presentation Ceremony, officiated by Secretary of Food and Health Professor Sophia Chan, was held on 11 April at Jockey Club Auditorium of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
