3M Hong Kong celebrates 60th Anniversary Staff members join hands to produce a promotional video

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of its founding, 3M Hong Kong invited all staff members to create the thematic slogan and produce a promotional video. The theme “Science for A Sustainable Future” was chosen after the nomination and voting of the 3Mers. Thanks to the active participation of all 3Mers in creative development and production, diverse 3M innovative solutions that make people’s work and domestic lives more convenient, flexible, safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly were showcased in a 2-minute video in a simple yet comprehensive way.

3M Hong Kong General Manager Ben Chung said, “The celebration activities were highly related to our business groups so that our colleagues could plan and prepare for the events collectively, and then celebrate and look ahead as one.”

Over 20 3Mers who were involved in the video production found the experience unique and rewarding. They could also have more interaction with their colleagues. Some staff members even invited their family members to participate in the shooting to make the video more interesting.

Transformation & Technology Manager Vincent Mak said, “I am delighted to involve in the video shooting with my colleagues. The solidarity is what really impressed me.” And Kit Leung from Health Care Business Group added, “I hope 3M Hong Kong will continue to innovate and grow in the face of different changes. And I believe all 3Mers have the same thought as mine.”
