This 3M™ Intake System Aerosol Adaptor Kit greatly limits overspray and minimizes product waste when using 3M™ Intake System Cleaner. A clear, thin tube is equipped with a brass quick-disconnect fitting that attaches easily to the aerosol can nozzle, so you can run the cleaner through engines more precisely than by spraying directly from the can. The kit also includes a convenient can hanger.
Faster, More Efficient Use of Intake System Cleaner
For all their convenience, aerosol cleaners have one problem: they can be inefficient. Now, thanks to our 3M™ Intake System Aerosol Adaptor Kit, using 3M™ Intake System Cleaner (08958) is faster, easier and more effective.
The kit includes a thin, clear tube attached to a brass quick-disconnect fitting (08927), as well as a can hanger. Rather than hold the can upside down and lock open the aerosol spray valve, you can simply hang the can in its proper upside-down position and freely use both hands for the rest of the operation. A brass fitting attached to the end of the tube locks quickly onto the aerosol nozzle and holds it open. Simply place the end of the tube precisely inside the throttle body and the Intake System Cleaner flows directly into the system without overspray, mess or wasted product.
