The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Dual Port Torso Warming Blanket, 54200 is a single-use upper-body forced-air warming blanket that helps prevent hypothermia and maintain normothermia, which has been shown to reduce the risk of complications such as surgical site infection (SSI)(1,2). Featuring 2 resealable hose ports that enable you to provide forced-air warming to the upper body, the blanket can be affixed to the lower abdomen, above the surgical incision site.

Suggested applications
  • 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Temperature Management Solutions are indicated for hypothermic patients or normothermic patients for whom induced hypothermia or localized temperature therapy is clinically indicated. In addition, the solutions can be used to provide patient thermal comfort when conditions exist that may cause patients to become too warm or too cold. The temperature management systems can be used with adult and pediatric patients. Bair Hugger Temperature Management Solutions should only be used by trained medical professionals
