    Hard water is especially problematic for combi ovens and steamers. When hard water is converted to steam, it leaves impurities behind. Over time, you’ll notice hard scale build-up, increased operating costs and maintenance downtime. With a wide array of filter types available, it can be daunting to decide which filter is most appropriate.    

    Consider the following to help you find the right water filtration system for steam equipment:

    • Size and type of equipment equipment (flash steamer, proofer, combi-oven, number of water connections to the steamer, etc)
    • Your peak-period for water-demand
    • Water-usage during the peak period and for the entire day
    • Local water conditions (TDS, hardness and minimum water temperature)
    • Water-pressure of your incoming water supply
